The agreement on the preparation of feasibility study of the project on transportation of gas to Kyrgyzstan from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan by Russian Gazprom is scheduled for the end of August - beginning of September, Kyrgyzgas spokesperson Zhainagul Maksimova told Trend on Thursday.

Kyrgyzgas's official Yevgeny Orlenko stated that Gazprom will supply gas to Kyrgyzstan from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan on Wednesday. He added that this will allow Kyrgyzstan to get second gas supplier.

According to Maksimova, the sides already have concrete preliminary agreements in this regard.

"The signing of feasibility study agreement is scheduled for August-September," she said.

Maksimova added that the details of the supplies will be discussed after Gazprom buys the shares of Kyrgyzgas, as it is planned.

Now Kyrgyzstan solves the problem of the country's debt for gas suppliers, Maksimova said.

She added that the debt appeared due to late approving of the country's budget.
