Georgian firm eyes up construction of two small hydroelectric power stations

Georgian company 'Alter Energy Construction' is interested in the construction of two small hydroelectric power stations in Shuakhevi, Adjara, the Georgian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources told Trend today.

According to the information, the company has made a bid for the construction of the Okropilauri and Gogniauri hydroelectric power stations on the Modulistskali River.

The capacity of the hydroelectric power stations is 1.8 MW each with an annual output of 9.4 million kilowatt / hour. The preliminary investment cost of both projects is $2.6 million.

Applications can be received till May 28.
