Oil supplies to Kazakh oil refineries increases

The real oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries amounted to 4.867 million tons in January-April, 2012 compared to 4.181 million tons during the same period of 2011, the national dispatch center of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.

The volume of oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries hit 1.288 million tons in April, 2012 or 0.6 percent less compared to March. In April, 2011 oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries amounted 0.989 million tons.

Kazakhstan imported for its refineries 478,300 tons of crude oil in April, 2012 which makes up 37.1 percent of total shipments, including 389,600 tons for the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, which focuses on Russian crude oil, 9,300 tons - for Atyrau Petrochemical Complex and 79,400 tons - for PetroKazakhstan Oil Products.
