Oil supply by non-OPEC countries will amount to 52.9 million barrels per day (bpd) in 2012 compared to 52.5 million bpd in 2011, Energy Security Analysis (ESAI) analysts predict.
According to the analysts' Global crude Oil Outlook, OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) countries will supply 18 million bpd in 2012. Former Soviet Union (FSU) countries' supply will amount to 13.3 million bpd this year. In the fourth quarter of 2012, according to the analysts' forecasts, non-OPEC supply will amount to 53.4 million bpd.
In 2013 ESAI analysts expect non-OPEC supply to increase by 1.1 million bpd to 54 million bpd. 18.1 million bpd will fall to the share of OECD countries, 13.6 million bpd - to the share of FSU.
The highest level of non-OPEC supply in 2013 will be observed in the fourth quarter - at 54.5 million bpd.
According to the analysts' expectations, global oil demand will increase by 1.1 million bpd to 88.6 million bpd in 2012 and by 1.5 million bpd to 90 million bpd in 2013.
Analysts predict demand in OECD countries at 45.7 million bpd in 2012 and at 45.9 million bpd in 2013.
Demand in non-OECD countries, according to the forecasts, will amount to 42.8 million bpd in 2012 and to 44.1 million bpd in 2013.
In China demand for oil will amount to 10 million bpd in 2012 and to 10.3 million bpd in 2013, according to the ESAI analysts' forecasts.
