State gas control department creates 143 administrative protocols on gas customers during the first half of the year, head of the department Asif Zeynalov told Trend.
He said the revenue from fines on protocols exceeded 30,000 manat.
Some 1258 control checks were held during the first half of the year. No violations were revealed in 895 cases of inspection, Zeynalov said.
"In turn, deficiencies have been identified in 363 cases, resulting in 143 administrative reports drawn up," Zeynalov said.
Production association Azerigas of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) deals with the issues of transportation, distribution and sale of natural gas in Azerbaijan.
