In January-September, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced about 5.12 billion cubic meters of gas compared to 5.31 billion cubic meters during the same period of last year, SOCAR said on Tuesday.
In September, SOCAR produced 551.2 million cubic meters of gas compared to 580.7 million cubic meters during the same period of last year.
According to SOCAR, in January-September, the country produced 19.7 billion cubic meters of gas compared to 19.41 billion cubic meters during nine months of last year. In September, the figure was 2.25 billion cubic meters compared to 2.14 billion cubic meters in September of last year.
Last year Azerbaijan produced about 26 billion cubic meters of gas. Some 7.08 billion cubic meters of gas of this volume accounted for SOCAR.
