Gas transit through Kazakhstan amounted to 59.539 billion cubic meters in January-September, 2012 compared to 57.734 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2011, the Central Dispatching Department of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
In September, 2012 gas transit through the country was carried out to the amount of 6.614 billion cubic meters compared to 6.553 billion in August and 5.327 billion cubic meters in September, 2011.
Some 8.221 billion cubic meters of the total volume of gas transit through Kazakhstan in January-September, 2012 accounted for Central Asian gas compared to 10.908 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2011.
In September, 2012 the Central Asian gas was transported through the country to the amount of 0.903 billion cubic meters compared to 0.936 billion in September, 2011.
