Azerbaijan increases propylene production by more than 30 percent

Azerkimya Production Unit (production of chemical products) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 24,8 thousand tons of propylene during January-November, which is 32.1 percent more compared to the same period of 2011, Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend.

A decrease was observed in all basic chemical products produced by Azerkimya during January-November.

Thus, 24.6 thousand tons of solid polyethylene pipes, tubes and hoses were produced in January-November. It is 24.6 percent more compared to the same period of last year. Some 545 tons of porous polyurethane plates and strips were produced in the republic. It is 78.7 percent more compared to the same period of last year.
