The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has commissioned a new oil and gas well in the shallow part of the "Guneshli" field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, SOCAR said on Thursday.
The well was commissioned from the "Gunashli-14" platform. Drilling of the well was carried out by order of "28 May" Oil and Gas Department.
Daily production rate of the well is 90 tons of oil and 10,000 cubic meters of gas.
SOCAR includes the Azneft production association (the companies producing oil and gas on and offshore), the Azerkimya industrial association (chemical enterprises) and Azerigaz industrial association (gas distribution).
