NIOC chief: Iran's oil projects flourishing despite sanctions
Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said that the number of pending oil projects in the country are more than any time before despite the US-led western unilateral sanctions on the country's all economic sectors, IRNA reported.
'The value of the pending projects of the country's oil industry sector is about $10 billion,' Ahmad Qalebani said, addressing a ceremony held for commemoration of the anniversary of establishment of National Iranian Drilling Company.
He noted that not only all NIOC's pending projects are being accomplished by Iranian contractors and making use of domestic equipment.
Meantime, Qalebani said that the National Iranian Drilling Company has high potentials and capabilities, and reiterated that the company plays a fundamental and key role in the implementation of drilling projects in the country.
