As of March 27, 2013, daily volume of gas supplied to the Azerbaijani population is 16.6 million cubic meters compared to 22.5 million cubic meters as of Feb. 21, a source in the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) told Trend on Wednesday.
As the company said, due to good weather conditions, gas consumption in the country has decreased. In particular, in Baku, this figure is 9.8 million cubic meters per day.
"Some 6.8 million cubic meters per day accounts for the country's regions," the source said.
Production Association Azerigaz of the SOCAR is engaged in gas distribution and sale in Azerbaijan.
