Earlier the Kazakh president approved a Concept-2050 which envisages transition to a 'green' economy. According to the concept, renewable and alternative energy sources will provide 30 per cent of all energy produced in Kazakhstan in 2030 and 50 per cent of all energy produced in Kazakhstan in 2050. The concept on Kazakhstan's transition to a 'green economy' has been implemented since June 1.
