State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported about 955,100 tons of oil products from its own refineries in January-November 2013 compared to 1.1 million tons in January-November 2012, a message from SOCAR published on Dec.3 said.
SOCAR exported over 1.24 million tons of oil products from its own refineries in 2012 compared to about 1.45 million tons in 2011.
Petroleum products in Azerbaijan are made on the basis of two Baku refineries with a total capacity of 16 million tons a year. Both are part of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan which annually processes approximately seven million tons of oil from onshore and offshore fields and is self-funded.
