Kyrgyz National Company KyrgyzGas agreed on the price for gas supplies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, the company reported this week.
KyrgyzGas concluded negotiations and reached an agreement on natural gas supplies in the first quarter of 2014 with Uzbek company Uztransgaz, the company said.
Kyrgyzstan will buy 25 million cubic meters of Uzbek natural gas for $290 per 1,000 cubic meters in this period, according to the agreement.
Moreover the company has a contract with Kazakh KazTransGas on supply of 100 million cubic meters of gas in the first quarter of 2014. The price for Kazakh gas is determined at $224 per 1,000 cubic meters.
