Azerbaijani State Securities Committee (SSC) has registered a new issue of ordinary registered uncertified shares of Bakielektrikshebeke JSC which deals with the distribution and sale of electricity in Baku, the JSC said on March 19.
Some 184,100,000 shares at par value of two manat each will be issued under the emission. The overall volume of the issue will be 368, 200,000 manat.
Bakielektrikshebeke JSC constructed over 6,900 kilometers of main power transmission lines from 2007 to 2013, while this figure was equal to 1,600 kilometers in 2012.
The JSC set about 301,320 electric meters between 2007 and 2013, according to a message posted on the energy operator's website. The JSC set nearly 21,000 meters in 2013 compared to 41,400 in 2012.
