Baku's energy operator increases purchases of electricity

Bakielektrikshebeke (sales and distribution of electricity in Baku) bought 6.72 billion kilowatt hours of electricity from Azerenergy (generation and distribution of electricity in the districts of Azerbaijan) in January-September 2014 compared to 6.37 billion kilowatt hours of electricity in the same period of 2013, Bakielektrikshebeke told Trend Nov. 12.

Bakielektrikshebeke bought about 8.86 billion kilowatt hours of electricity from Azerenergy in 2013 compared to 8.55 billion kilowatt hours in 2012.

On average, Bakielektrikshebeke paid for 95 percent of electricity supplied by Azerenergy in January-September compared to 95.2 percent in the same period of 2013.

Bakielektrikshebeke paid for an average of 93.6 percent of electricity supplied by Azerenergy in 2013, which is similar with 2012.
