Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR will pump 80,000 tons of oil via Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline in March 2016, a source in SOCAR told Trend Feb. 25.
SOCAR will pump 1.3 million tons of oil via Baku-Novorossiysk in 2016, according to a new agreement with Russian Transneft, said the source.
The company did not export oil via the pipeline in January and February and redirected it to the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, added the source.
SOCAR transported 1.27 million tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in 2015 versus 932,160 tons of oil in 2014.
