Tehran consumes 1.289 billion liters of gasoline within three months

Consumers in Iranian capital city of Tehran burnt 1.289 billion liters of gasoline in a period of three months between March 20 and June 20.

Morteza Abedini, the head of the Tehran Oil Products Distribution Company, has said that the consumption of gasoline in Tehran has increased by two percent year-on-year, SHANA news agency reported.

According to him Tehran consumed 1.260 billion liters of gasoline in the same period of time last year.

Meanwhile the consumption of gas oil has dropped by 14 percent in Tehran reaching 434.654 million liters.

He added that the consumption of kerosene has decreased by 17 percent reaching 2.385 million litters.

Morteza Abedini further added that 95.211 million cubic meters of CNG was consumed in Tehran in the mentioned three months, indicating four percent growth year-on-year.
