Azerbaijan’s SOCAR to increase oil products’ supply to Ukraine

Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR) became a winner of the tender announced by Ukrainian Railways, Ukrainian media reported July 25.

The tender was announced for purchasing 14,080 tons of diesel fuel worth over $10 million through the Trading House of SOCAR Energy Ukraine (SOCAR’s subsidiary in Ukraine).

SOCAR confirmed this information to Trend, without specifying the time of supply.

“For present, there is no precise information about the time and distribution of the supply (whether it will be supplied in one batch or more). This issue will be elaborated soon,” said SOCAR.

SOCAR exported 389,220 tons of diesel fuel in H1 2016, as compared to 491,850 tons in the same period in 2015.

SOCAR is represented in Ukraine with its subsidiary SOCAR Energy Ukraine and owns a network of 58 filling stations there.
