The trading house SOCAR Energy Ukraine, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR, has become the winner of a tender of Ukraine’s State Agency of Reserves on delivering 3,500 tons of arctic diesel fuel worth about $3 million, a source in SOCAR told Trend Feb. 7.
The source said that the fuel should be delivered until late March.
SOCAR exported 71,460 tons of diesel fuel in January 2017, as compared to 73,820 tons exported in the same period of 2016.
The company is represented in Ukraine by its subsidiary – SOCAR Energy Ukraine, as well as it has a network of 60 filling stations in the country.
