Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR exported 704,090 tons of oil from Georgia’s Supsa port in January-March 2017, as compared to 599,600 tons of oil in the same period of 2016, SOCAR said in a message Apr. 3.
SOCAR exported 178,700 tons of oil from the Supsa port in March 2017.
The company exported 2.38 million tons of oil from the Georgian port of Supsa in 2016, as compared to 2.79 million tons exported in 2015.
Oil is delivered to Supsa via the Baku-Supsa pipeline operated by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC).
