Two companies – Kura Valley Operating Company and Kura Valley Development Company – have been closed down in Azerbaijan, the Vergiler (Taxes) newspaper of Azerbaijan’s Taxes Ministry reported.
Creditors may submit their claims within two months to: Nizami Street, 69, ISR Plaza, Nasimi District, Baku, Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that Kura Valley Operating Company engaged in the exploration and development of the Padar oil field in Azerbaijan. A production sharing agreement (PSA) on Padar field was signed in 1999. The company’s shares were distributed between Global Energy, owned by Russneft, (80 percent) and Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR (20 percent).
