Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, July 12

By Huseyn Hasanov – Trend:

Energy cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany is very promising, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper writes July 12.

Such major projects, implemented by Turkmenistan, as the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, as well as plants for processing natural gas, open up great prospects for German companies, producing equipment for the oil and gas industry, according to the newspaper.

Turkmenistan-Germany business talks were earlier held in Frankfurt am Main. The joint business forum was attended by about 100 representatives of German state enterprises and organizations, managers of companies engaged in the oil and gas, chemical industries, energy, construction, agriculture, logistics, banking and other spheres.

The event was organized by the Turkmen Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the SAP SE and GLAAS companies.

“Turkmenistan is ready for substantive discussion of the issues of future cooperation in electric power and electric engineering sectors, and in implementing international projects for the construction of power lines from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan and Pakistan,” writes the Neutral Turkmenistan.
