The state-owned public joint stock company UkrGasVydobuvannya plans to process 5,000 tons of Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light oil, bought from PJSC Ukrtransnafta at an auction, in July 2017, Oil News portal reported citing the company’s Commercial Director Sergey Fedorenko.
Earlier, UkrGasVydobuvannya purchased 5,000 tons of Azeri Light oil offered by Ukrtransnafta on the electronic platform of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEEX).
According to Fedorenko, the company also plans to continue purchasing Azerbaijani oil in the future.
Ukrtransnafta has about 40,000 tons of Azerbaijani oil, which is stored in Kremenchuk, noted the commercial director.
He said also that since the beginning of the year, the company received 16,000 tons of oil from Kazakhstan, and significantly increased its own production.
“With the implementation of the program on purchase and production of oil, we plan to reach the processing volume of 530-550,000 tons in 2017, as it was planned earlier,” added Fedorenko.
