Uzbekistan’s joint stock company Uztransgaz had a net income of 613.44 billion soums in January-June 2017, which is by 18 percent less than in the same period of 2016, said a report published on single portal of corporate information of Uzbekistan.
Uztransgaz, a subsidiary of the Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company, supervises the transportation, shipping, transit and export of gas.
The report said that the company’s proceeds from the sale of produce stood at 3.560 trillion soums (a 10.7 percent increase), the gross profit from the sale of produce totaled 1.473 trillion soums (a 13.1 percent increase), and profit from the main activity was 1.041 trillion soums (a 9 percent increase) in the first half of 2017.
The prime cost of the sold produce reached 2.086 trillion soums (a 9 percent increase).
Accounts receivable for the reporting period decreased by 3.18 percent to 10.23 trillion soums.
