Tanks for petroleum products will be built in the logistics center in Turkish province of Afyonkarahisar, a source in the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications of Turkey told Trend June 29.
The ministry noted that a total area of 55,000 square meters have been allocated for the construction of tanks.
"The funds amounting to $13 million will be invested in the construction of the tanks," the ministry stated.
Such logistic centers as Samsun (Gelemen), Istanbul (Halkali), Eskisehir (Hasanbey), Denizli (Kaklik), Izmit (Kosekoy), Usak and Balikesir (Gokkoy) have already been put into operation in Turkey as of today.
The opening of logistics centers in Istanbul and in the provinces of Kars, Mardin, Sirnak, Kayseri, Sivas, Bitlis and Karaman is planned.
