SOCAR-Dalgidj, a joint venture Dalgidj LLC and Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR, plans to sign a contract with Norwegian Equinor (former Statoil) to provide ROV (remotely operated underwater vehicle) services to support drilling operations, the company’s General Manager Rustam Rakhmatulin told Trend.
He said that the contract is expected to be concluded in the first quarter of 2019.
SOCAR-Dalgidj renders services to BP and its subsidiaries, he added. However, in the future, the company plans to expand its activities and establish cooperation with other companies, he noted.
SOCAR-Dalgidj JV was established in 2015.
