Gureh pumping station in the port city of Bandar Genaveh in Iran’s Bushehr province, which has an important role in Iran's economy, can transport more than 3 million barrels of oil per day, Executive Director of Gachsaran Oil and Gas Production Company (GOGPC) Hooshang Seydali said, Trend reports via Iranian media.
GOGPC has 10 production workshops, 10 gas pressure boosting workshops, 3 gas and liquefied gas separation workshops, 5 desalination workshops and more than 6,700 kilometers of oil transportation pipelines.
The company operates in the field of oil and gas extraction and processing, as well as gas condensate production in Khuzestan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Bushehr and Fars provinces.
Gachsaran oil field is the second biggest oil field in Iran. This field is located in Gachsaran district of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province.
