UK buys oil products in Turkmenistan

Last week, 58 deals were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the state exchange.

Businessmen from the UK, the UAE, Switzerland, Turkey, Afghanistan, Estonia and Kyrgyzstan purchased low-sulfur furnace fuel oil, hydrotreated diesel fuel, base oil and gasoline.

This is while businessmen from Russia, the UAE and Hong Kong bought high density polyethylene and polypropylene.

Besides, colorless sheet glass, Portland cement, medical supplies, cotton yarn and cotton fiber were sold to businessmen from Turkey, the UAE, Hong Kong, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.

The total amount of transactions exceeded $156.951 million.

Businesses and organizations of all ownership forms, residents of Turkmenistan and other countries can participate in the exchange trading by acquisition of a broker place or signing of service contract with exchange brokers.

Petrochemicals, cotton fiber, local textile and chemical production are the main exports.
