Iran's Shahid Rajaee port exports 6.7 million tons of oil products

During the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), 6.76 million tons of oil products were exported from Shahid Rajaee port in the Bandar Abbas County of Iran's southern Hormozgan Province.

During the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), 6.76 million tons of oil products were exported from Shahid Rajaee port in the Bandar Abbas County of Iran's southern Hormozgan Province, said Allah-Morad Afifipour, director general of the Ports and Maritime Department of Hormozgan Province, Trend reports referring to IRNA.

According to Afifipour, 38,800 tons of oil products have been internally transported in the Shahid Rajaee port since the beginning of the year.

According to Afifipour, oil imports to the port have dropped by 64 percent and 15.1 million tons of oil products have been cabotaged.

The part of the Shahid Rajaee port for oil products is called the Persian Gulf Port. There are 9 oil platforms and 2 service platforms in this port.

A part of the port can be used for docking oil tankers with a maximum load of 10,000 tons, and another part for oil tankers carrying more than 30,000 tons.
