Iran’s Fanavaran Petrochemical Company produced 89,300 tons of methanol during the first month of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), said Ali Khanzadeh, the company’s head, Trend reports with reference to the company’s website.
He said that 1,106 tons of methanol were additionally produced during the month, and this is a new record.
Khanzadeh added that continuation of production, taking into account affordable quantitative and qualitative criteria, is in the focus of the company.
The company has a production capacity of 1 million tons per year. Fanavaran Petrochemical Company, the only one in Iran producing acetic acid, also exports its products.
