The deadline for submission of applications for participation for the public procurement “Selection of a leading insurer for "Gas interconnector Greece-Bulgaria" project has been extended up to 24th July 2019, Trend reports citing ICGB AD project company.
The extension is necessary in order for the Contracting Entity to publish in due time the replies to requests for clarifications received within the period provided in the public procurement authority (PPA), said the company.
The groundbreaking ceremony for IGB was held May 22 in Bulgaria.
IGB is a gas pipeline, which will allow Bulgaria to receive Azerbaijani gas, in particular, the gas produced from Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz 2 gas and condensate field. IGB is expected to be connected to TAP via which gas from the Shah Deniz field will be delivered to the European markets.
The initial capacity of IGB will be 3 billion cubic meters of gas.
