Caspian Pipeline Consortium's crude oil handling up

Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s (CPC) delivered 5.699 million gross tons (45,089,993 barrels) of crude oil to its Marine Terminal (MT) in July 2019, compared to 5.671 million tons last month, and handled 54 tankers, which is two tankers more than in the previous month, Trend reports with reference to CPC.

According to the data, the schedule for the crude oil handling was completed in full.

Furthermore, 340 oil tankers were handled at the MT in January-July 2019, which took 36.201 million gross tons of crude in their tanks.

Out of the oil lifted in July 2019, some 2.423 million tons accounted for the crude oil from Tengiz field; 881,978 tons - from Karachaganak field; 1.383 million tons - from Kashagan field; and 233,133 tons from other Kazakh producers.

In July, a total of 4.922 million tons of the crude oil were shipped by Kazakh producers, and 777,569 tons were delivered from Russia.

CPC is the largest international oil transportation project with participation of Russia, Kazakhstan and world’s leading producer companies, which was formed for construction and operation of the trunk oil pipeline more than 1,500 kilometers long.

The CPC pipeline system mainly collects crude oil from large oil fields of West Kazakhstan, as well as crude oil from Russian producers.
