Turkey reveals volume of crude oil imports from Turkmenistan

Turkey has imported 50,000 tons of crude oil and 983.946 tons of diesel fuel from Turkmenistan in June 2019, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

The country exported 84.774 tons of jet fuel to Turkmenistan during the reporting period, which accounted for 0.01 percent of its exports.

Among other Central Asian countries, Turkey imported more than 145,254 tons of crude oil from Kazakhstan, which accounted for 4.61 percent of its imports of petroleum products.

Moreover, Turkey exported 1,594 tons of jet fuel to Uzbekistan and 630.673 tons to Kazakhstan in June 2019.

In general, Turkey’s crude oil imports have increased by 15.53 percent in June 2019, as compared to the same period last year and exceeded 2.116 million tons.

This is while the country’s diesel fuel imports went down by 39.70 percent and stood at more than 751,047 tons.

The country’s gasoline exports rose by 20.31 percent and exceeded 250,493 tons, while diesel fuel exports increased by 367.61 percent and stood at more than 42,669 tons.

Turkey has also increased the exports of jet fuel and marine fuel by 17.24 percent and 268.22 percent, respectively, bringing them to 428,888 tons and 242,440 tons.
