Import of lubricants into Georgia decreases

Imports of lubricants into Georgia amounted to 1,600 tons in August 2019, which is 200 tons less than in July 2019, Trend reports referring to the Georgia's Union of Petroleum Products Importers.

In August 2019, the largest volume of imports of lubricants was carried out from Iran - 500 tons, which is 31.9 percent of total imports. Turkey follows with 360 tons (22.5 percent), Russia - 170 tons (10.6 percent), Germany - 130 tons (8.1 percent), Ukraine - 100 tons (6.25 percent).

In July 2019, imports of lubricants into Georgia amounted to 1,800 tons, which is 100 tons less than in June 2019.

Import of lubricants into Georgia in January-August 2019 amounted to 12,800 tons, exceeding the figure of the same period last year by 500 tons.

In August 2019, aviation fuel imports into Georgia amounted to 12,800 tons, which is 1,800 tons more than in July 2019.

In August 2019, the largest volume of aviation fuel imports from Turkmenistan was 6,200 tons, which is 48.4 percent of total imports. Then follow Egypt - 3,300 tons (25.8 percent), Turkey – 3,300 tons (25.8 percent).

In July 2019, aviation fuel imports into Georgia amounted to 11,000 tons, which is 2,200 tons more than in June 2019.

In January-August of this year, aviation fuel imports amounted to 75,500 tons, which is 10,500 tons more than in the same period last year (65,000 tons).
