Georgia imports 1,900 tons of oil bitumen from Azerbaijan

In August 2019, Georgia imported 1,900 tons of oil bitumen from Azerbaijan, Trend reports referring to the Georgia's Union of Petroleum Products Importers.

Imports of oil bitumen to Georgia amounted to 27,500 tons in August 2019, exceeding the figure of July 2019 by 8,200 tons.

About 22,200 tons (80.7 percent) of imports accounted for Iran, which is followed by Iraq with 3,200 tons (11.6 percent), Azerbaijan – 1,900 tons (6.9 percent), and Turkey - 200 tons (0.7 percent).

In July 2019, imports of oil bitumen to Georgia amounted to 19,300 tons, which is 200 tons less than in June 2019.

Import of oil bitumen in January-August of the current year amounted to 110,500 tons, which is 52,400 tons more than the same period last year (58,100 tons).

The import of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) into Georgia in August 2019 amounted to 2,100 tons, which is 300 tons more than in July 2019.

In July 2019, imports of liquefied petroleum gas into Georgia amounted to 1,800 tons, which is 400 tons more than in June 2019.

The import of liquefied petroleum gases in January-August this year amounted to 11,000 tons, which is 1,900 tons more than in the same period last year (9,200 tons).
