Georgia increases import of lubricants

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 11

Import of lubricants to Georgia amounted to 1,900 tons in November 2019, which is 200 tons more than in October 2019, Trend reports referring to the Union of Oil Product Importers of Georgia.

In November 2019, the largest volume of lubricants was imported from Turkey - 420 tons, which makes up 24 percent of total imports.

In the reporting period, Georgia imported 410 tons (23.4 percent) of lubricants from Iran, 250 tons (14.3 percent) of lubricants from Russia, and 180 tons (10.3 percent) of lubricants from Germany.

The import of lubricants to Georgia in October 2019 amounted to 1,700 tons, which is 100 tons less than in September 2019.

Import of lubricants from January through November this year amounted to 18,300 tons, which is 700 tons or 4 percent more than in the same period last year.
