Iran’s daily gasoline consumption down to 75.5 million liters

From November 22 through December 21, the gasoline consumption of Iran amounted to 75.5 million liters on average, Executive Director of Iran's Petroleum Distribution Company Amir Vekilzadeh said, Trend reports via Shana.

Consumption of Iran’s gasoline has been reduced by about 16 percent with the implementation of the project.

However, since the beginning of March 21, 2019, gasoline consumption averaged approximately 94.4 million liters a day. From March 21, 2018 through March 21, 2019, daily consumption increased by 6.1 percent, amounting to 89.7 million liters.

In September 2019, daily diesel consumption averaged approximately 134.4 million liters.

This figure shows an increase by 41.3 percent compared to the same month last year.
