The Turkmenneft State Concern of Turkmenistan has intensified work on the development of the Goturdepe hydrocarbon field near the Caspian Sea, Trend reports referring to the company's statement.
Specialists provide technical support for special vehicles, loading and unloading work, and are building roads for drilling rigs, the company said.
An increase in the extraction of raw materials at the field ensured the use of XJ-250 lifting devices (China Cold Feed Rubber Extruder).
Exploration work has been resumed in Turkmenistan at exploited fields, aimed at studying deep-seated structures up to 7 kilometers.
In particular, in the west of the country 3D seismic studies using modern equipment and software were carried out at the Goturdepe field, including the adjacent shallow fields of the Caspian Sea.
An example, confirming the prospects of this work, is the North Goturdepe field, where a new layer of oil was discovered at a 4,000 meters depth, Turkmengeologiya State Corporation said.
