Turkmenistan reveals export of light oil products

Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR) in Turkmenistan exported over 1.1 million tons of light oil products from January through December 2019, Trend reports referring to CA-NEWS on Jan. 27.

A wide range of light and heavy oil products is produced at TCOR, Deputy General Director of the TCOR Jeyhun Ovezov said.

During 2019, TCOR shipped over 354,700 tons of gasoline RON95, RON92 and RON80, as well as more than 793,600 tons of diesel fuel, including 351,500 tons of hydrotreated diesel oil and 45,500 tons of ECO-5 brands.

Turkmenistan plans to increase the capacity of the oil refining industry to 30 million tons in 2030. Currently, the country annually produces approximately 10 million tons of oil, a significant part of which is refined at TCOR, which includes two refineries located in the Turkmenbashi and Seydi cities.
