The volume of gas produced by Andijanneft Joint Stock Company at Uchtepa oil and gas field has been increased, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz company's press service.
Thereby, gas is supplied not only to residents of the nearby district, but also to other regions through the trunk lines of Uztransgaz, the message said.
On December 26, 2019, a gas well No. 13 of this field, located in the village of Uchtepa, Bulakbashi district (Andijan region), was put into operation.
At present, the daily volume of natural gas production from the well is 100,000-110,000 cubic meters.
Currently, a large volume of gas, produced at the Uchtepa oil and gas field, allows delivering 270,000 cubic meters of gas a day to the Bulakbashi district, as well as 270,000-300,000 cubic meters - to other districts through the Uztransgaz trunk lines.
Andijanneft Joint Stock Company includes more than 20 oil and gas fields.
Most of them are depleted, as oil has been produced there for 50-100 years. Company’s geological prospecting for new oil and gas fields does not stop, and new fields are being discovered.
