National Iranian South Oil Company discloses oil production forecast

As much as 225,000 barrels of oil will be produced daily at three oil fields of National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) from skid-mounted processing units after their commission within upcoming two years, Sadegh Fathollahi, director of technical affairs at NISOC, said at a meeting on investment opportunities in crude oil projects, Trend reports with reference to National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
Iran's Gachsaran, Lali Bangestan and Mansouri will produce oil using skid-mounted processing units, Sadegh Fathollahi said.
Four projects on oil processing using skid-mounted units will be implemented in Iran within the upcoming two years, the director said, adding that the construction of a skid-mounted processing unit as part of such a project began abroad last year and soon will be imported to Iran.
Currently, three projects on oil desalination are being implemented at Gachsaran 4, Lali Bangestan nad Mansouri fields.
According to Sadegh Fathollahi, the desalination unit of Gachsaran 4 field will process 110,000 barrels of oil per day, while this figure at Lali Bangestan and Mansouri fields will be 40,000 and 75,000 barrels per day, respectively.
The meeting on investment opportunities in crude oil projects was held in Tehran on Feb. 19. The participants discussed the commissioning and use of refinery equipment.
