Uzbekistan reveals number of violations committed by oil depots

Number of violations committed by regional oil depots in the sale of petroleum products was revealed as a result of measures taken by Uzneftegaz Inspection, Trend reports with the reference to the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

The total amount of damage in this case amounted to 24 billion soum ($2.5 million).

In particular, Taxiatosh Oil Base LLC and branches of this enterprise found the facts of theft, shortage of oil products and damage to quality in the amount of 1,267 tons, which makes about 9.7 billion soum ($1.01 million).

Also, according to the earlier conducted inspections by Uzneftegaz Inspection, Karshi Oil Base LLC found such violations as inconsistency in the quality of oil products and lubricants, fake write-offs in the total amount of 4,333 tons worth 11.5 billion soum ($1.2 million).

Also, as a result of inspections at Pakhta Oil Base Ltd, violations related to trade and services to the population were found , as well as shortages and damage to the quality of oil products in the amount of 143 tons worth 2.7 billion soum ($283,462).

On all the above facts, criminal cases have been initiated by the law enforcement agencies and investigation procedures are currently underway.
