By the end of current Iranian year (March 21, 2020), Iran will complete 25 projects in the water management and electricity sector, said Reza Ardakanian, Iranian Minister of Energy, Trend reports citing the ministry.
According to Ardakanian, 70 trillion rials (about $ 1.66 billion) have been spent on these projects.
Ardakanian added that since September 23, 2019, 202 projects worth 263 trillion rials (about $ 6.27 billion) have been completed.
As of today, 41 water management and electricity projects worth 30 trillion rials (about $ 714 million) have been completed in six provinces of Iran.
It is planned to complete 227 projects worth 330 trillion rials (about $ 7.85 billion) in the water management and electricity sectors of 31 provinces in the second half of the current Iranian year.
