Bulgartransgaz EAD of Bulgaria has announced a market study for future interest in natural gas transmission in Bulgaria - Serbia direction, Trend reports citing the company.
Bulgartransgaz EAD requests all interested parties to express their future interest in natural gas capacity transmission in Bulgaria - Serbia direction through the cross-border point Kireevo/Zajecar for the period from January 1, 2021 to October 1, 2021.
In case of market interest, Bulgartransgaz EAD will inform the market participants about the amount of additional capacity. And it will be offered for booking in line with ENTSOG Auction Calendar on the Capacity booking platform (RBP).
Moreover, Bulgartransgaz announced a record low price offered on anonymous long-term segment of Balkan Gas Hub.
“At the anonymous long-term segment on the Balkan Gas Hub EAD trading platform an offer has been made with a delivery period April 2020 with a price 26.00 BGN/MWh or 0.21 BGN less than the estimated regulatory price as of 1 April 2020. The platform is open for monthly product “April 2020” transactions until the last business day of the month which could also lead to a real transaction for the volumes offered at the respective price,” said the company.
The proposed offer with a price of 26.00 BGN /MWh includes costs for access and transmission to a virtual trading point which makes the price even more competitive.
