The Uzbek-Chinese New Silk Road Oil and Gas joint venture is producing natural gas in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz press service.

The company extracts hydrocarbons from Khojasayat, Khojadavlat and Sharki Alat fields.

Currently, there are 16 wells (nine new wells drilled and seven previously drilled) in the production well stock.

Gas gathering pipelines Sharqi Alat-Khojasayat with the length of 29.5 kilometers, Khojadavlat-Sharqi Alat - 7.5 km and 47 kilometers of Khojasayat- Dengizkul gas pipeline have been laid.

So far the gas production is at 1.25 billion cubic meters.
