State Oil Company of Azerbaijan SOCAR produced 7.7 million tons of oil and 6.8 billion cubic meters of gas in 2019, and thereby increased indicators, Trend reports citing a report on the activities of Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers in 2019.
Last year, the company's oil production increased by 140,800 tons of oil, while gas production - by 293 million cubic meters compared to 2018.
Meanwhile, the company exported 1.4 million tons of oil and 1.6 billion cubic meters of gas, and the revenues from exports amounted to $904.6 million.
The revenues of SOCAR from export of oil, gas and oil products exceeded $1.2 billion in 2019.
According to the report, 600,000 tons of oil were transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, and 800,000 tons via Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline.
In 2019, SOCAR exported oil products worth $384.5 million.
Meanwhile, the volume of domestic sales of the company’s oil products amounted to 2.8 billion manat ($1.6 million).
