Turkey spends more natural gas for power supply

The share of natural gas in electricity production in Turkey increased by 1.14 percent in February 2020, and over 25.9 million megawatts of electricity were produced with the usage of natural gas, Trend reports referring to Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

The share of electricity produced with the usage of natural gas reached almost 30.5 percent, according to the EPDK report.

In February 2020, a total of 85 million megawatts was generated in Turkey, which is 1.8 percent more compared to the same month of last year.
