Ukrainian oil company reveals Azeri Light purchase volumes

Ukrtransnafta PJSC, operator of the oil transportation system of Ukraine, has bought 61,300 tons of Azeri Light oil in April 2020, Trend reports citing Ukrainian media.

"In March, Ukrtransnafta began receiving Azeri Light oil from the Yuzhny offshore oil terminal for its further transportation to Belarus via the Odessa-Brody pipeline and one of two strands of the Druzhba pipeline," the media reported.

In April 2020, Ukrtransnafta increased the volume of oil transportation to the Ukrainian refinery by 27.3 percent compared to the same month of 2019, up to 244,100 tons.

In turn, 750,500 tons of oil were transited through Ukraine, which is 11.6 percent less compared to April of last year.

The Azeri Light oil is produced at the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli block of fields in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
