The volume of natural gas export from Azerbaijan amounted to 4.3 billion cubic meters from January through April 2020, which is 7.4 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the statistical report of the State Customs Committee (SCC) on May 14.
During the reporting period, the value of exported natural gas in monetary terms amounted to nearly $821.4 million, indicating a growth of 22.3 percent compared to the same period of 2019.
From January through April 2020, Azerbaijan’s export of natural gas amounted to 13 percent of the country’s total export.
In the first quarter of 2020, Azerbaijan’s export of natural gas amounted to 3.85 percent of the country’s total export.
In 2019, the volume of natural gas export from Azerbaijan amounted to 12.5 billion cubic meters, and the value in monetary terms – to $2.4 billion.
